On August 18th, 2023, I celebrated 11 years of Sobriety!

I love this day and think you should celebrate your sobriety.

Every year, I am humbled to see where my life was and where my life is now. It's a complete 180.  I made one change to my life, and that was to quit drinking alcohol, and the compound effect of it has been amazing.

As each year passes, I continue to learn and grow as a person. I believe growing in your sober life is key to helping you continue on the sober path.

I wanted to share with you 11 lessons I have learned in my sobriety that have kept me on my sober path.

  1. One Day At A Time
  2. Respect Your Sobriety
  3. Stay Humble
  4. Stop Comparing to others
  5. Stop Assuming
  6. Stop Expecting
  7. Listen to your Boday
  8. Learn from failures
  9. Laugh
  10. Do things that make you feel good
  11. Take the Pause

These lessons have played key roles in my recovery, and I hope they help you today. You can listen to the Sober Vibes podcast episode 143 to get more details about these eleven lessons. I go more in-depth about them and how they have helped with long-term sobriety.
