Is it just me or are you craving a summer getaway this early into the year, too? One of my favorite ways to spoil myself in the summer is with an icy beverage - virgin style. Since I'm cooped up inside waiting for summer, I decided to dip my toe into the mocktail waters and try some fancy virgin cocktails - just for fun!
Many of these mocktails focus on serving the original cocktail virgin style which is great for serving for any party or special occasion. My favorite part about mixing mocktails is putting my own twist on classic recipes and including freshly brewed sparkling water!
Sparkling water is my go-to for adding excitement to any drink.
Grab yourself a few tall glasses and pour a fancy alcohol-free drink and get your fancy on:
Don't forget about the ice!
Simple, fresh orange juice is perfect for a brunch or morning pick-me-up drink!
Tastes like summer! A healthier alternative that you can drink every day!
This one just brings back sweet childhood memories! Sign me up for a sweet treat that include a maraschino cherry with it!
This little creamy, dreamy drink has a surprise ingredient to welcome summer straight into your mouth. Give up? It's sherbert. That irresistible fruity ice cream mixed with some citrus soda and pineapple juice. Yum!
Mmmm! Orange juice and peaches mix together with a citrus soda and a dash of grenadine! No alcohol needed to enjoy this tasty treat!
Pineapple, orange, and cranberry juice with a little bit of sweet grenadine come together to bring you a Virgin Sunset!
You say limeade and I'm in! Add some strawberries and cucumbers for some new flavor combinations that thrill? I'm definitely in!
This fun color-changing mojito mocktail made out from a butterfly pea flower tea is what some might consider mind blowing. It's pretty fun to make and you can watch a video on how it works before you give it a whirl one rainy day!
This one sounded extra delicious because of the sparkling apple cider, but I love the idea of creating an exciting drink totally from scratch!
What a great way to use a delicious fruit like watermelon! Once those melons start showing up at my grocery store, I'm going to try this minty watermelon mojito mocktail!
Another fun twist on a mojito bringing in all my summer favorites: pineapple and lime!
It should be noted that this recipe is not actually a mocktail, but I'm going to give it a try cutting the light rum altogether. You can try subbing the booze for something else that suits your palette or try a replacing it with a non-alcoholic spirit:
A little bit of mint with a little bit of lime makes a mean green non-alcoholic drink!
A very serious classic cocktail turned mocktail for everyone to enjoy, pretty much anytime.
What's NOT to love about this adorable peachy drink topped with an umbrella brought to you by Mix That Drink! Even the name is cute!
What's your favorite non-alcoholic drink?
